Built For
Montana
By Montanans
The Montana Cannabis Coalition is a statewide trade association established to provide licensed cannabis operators with a unified and effective voice in legislative advocacy, regulatory engagement, strengthening public trust, and the long-term success of our industry
"Montana's cannabis industry is stronger when its voices come together."
— Mariah Bond, Executive Director
The Montana Cannabis Coalition exists to protect, empower, and unite Montana’s cannabis industry. We connect license holders across all sectors — cultivation, manufacturing, retail, testing, and more — through meaningful engagement and accessible education.
Our focus is to ensure that the people working in this industry have the tools, information, and collective strength they need to succeed. We foster collaboration between businesses, lawmakers, and regulators, and advocate for policies that reflect the realities on the ground.
Through community building, legislative advocacy, and a commitment to transparency, we are shaping a stronger, more sustainable cannabis future for Montana.
Why MCC Was Founded
Montana’s cannabis industry has grown rapidly since the passage of adult-use legalization. With that growth came a clear need: licensed operators needed a unified, powerful voice at the table.
MCC was founded by Montanans, for Montanans — people who understand the challenges of operating a cannabis business in Big Sky Country. We know the regulatory landscape, the community concerns, and the political realities because we live them every day.
We present a fresh, inclusive model where members directly shape the organization’s direction. Representing cultivators, manufacturers, dispensaries, and service providers statewide, MCC works to protect local businesses and advance policies that benefit communities, consumers, and the economy.
